When I started at the IKE BOX there were people I already knew and people I Didn't. people i knew id be close to and people i wasnt real sure about I dont dislike or not get along with anybody here. Im friends with everybody. Im closer to a couple people more than others. But thats just because stive been through "life" stuff with those people. Everyone here is pretty laid back and chill and isnt with the drama and thats my kinda atmosphere

metaphor #1 plane-crash
Last year I moved back to Salem from Washington and started at claggett creek. I was seeing grades on my report card i've never seen in my life. I was getting straight A's. my best friend died and i started to go down hill I then moved across town and switched to Adam Stephens. my grades then went from bad to worse. When i was at school I was in the principals office or i wasn't at school at all. I dropped out the last two months of school. I started at Mcnary and my mom would drop me off at one gate and id go right out the other. The one day i did go to school i was informed i was withdrew and was refered to Roberts. Things became better at Roberts but i still hated going to school. I asked Mary jean if i could go to the Ike box because i had heard about it from friends she said yes and its been the best thing thats happened to me in the past two years. I love coming to school everyday and wouldn't change it for anything

LOF. Destruction
I don't be leave that Destruction, breaking things and violence are only caused by young people. I know adults who are down with egging peoples houses, paint balling peoples houses, breaking windows etc. I don't think it's something that people are necessarily attracted to like it's something they do everyday. I think people do it out of anger or some other emotion without thinking of the consequences first

Children rule the world
The world would be scary if children ruled the world mostly because we don't have the knowledge to be able to do that. We don't understand boundaries. and We don't have the education yet
No rules
I think a world with no rules would be even more chaotic than it is now. A lot of people don't listen to the rules we have now and break those rules. So if we didn't have any the world would be madness and people who murder people and people who rape people would be running around freely and thats not cool
LOF. strange things happen

Honestly it's a hard question to answer I don't judge people by what they look like or where they come from or what they've done in life I judge them by what they bring to the table. not saying I've never looked at someone and said gross or made fun of them or anything like that because sure I have my immature ways. but I can't say I have ever actually looked at someone or maybe had a short conversation with someone at a bus stop or downtown etc. and said I could never be friends with that person. I've hung out with people and then decided I could not be there friend because of choices they make but I've never right off the bat say I would never be friends with them

LOF fear
My most fearful moment is when I went up to bagby (the hotsprings) with my sister and some friends. we had a good time but on the way home my sister was driving and she was drunk. she gets a little crazy when she was drunk and she was swerving off the road. I called her physco and she pulled over and told me to get the hell out of her truck. My phone was dead and I was many miles from home but thank god a cop drove by and saw me on the side of the road. I wouldn't have been scared if she had left me maybe somewhere in town but I was in the middle of no where at three in the morning.

Gun control
I think Gun laws should stay the same. Guns do get in the wrong hands and people kill themselves kill other people or accidents happen. But if someone wanted someone dead or wanted to take there own life not having a gun isn't going to stop that person. shooting your self or someone else isn't the only way to kill.

an evening with Christopher Gardner

1) All my life I've wanted to become a hair dresser or I wanted to dance. I'm very passionate about them both Ive been dancing since i was three years old starting with ballet. since I was twelve ive been cutting my own hair. Now I dont only foil my own hair and dye it different colors I do other peoples hair to.
2)my career dreams are breaking into the fashion business and dancing. In order to achieve my dreams im going to go to college in las Vegas. Dancing I havn't figured out what steps I need to take to get there. I want to go to beauty school to be a certified hair dresser but it will only be my hobby.
3)I understand the reality of achieving my dreams but right now Im not doing what I need to not only that but don't know everything I need to do to achieve those dreams because graduating high school is first on my list and with trying to do that "life happens" and things like achieving dreams gets put to the side.
4)Dinner and the presentation was awesome. Chris Gardner inspired me in so many ways. Im not one who can sit and listen for a long period of time and i was just zoned in the whole time for the most part. When explaining some of the differences between what really happened and what happened in the movie. It always seemed like every time things were about to get better he got kicked 5 steps back and not always intentionally. And still he picked himself up and kept trying an In certain ways I can relate to that. I admire him because he can talk about everything that happened in his life and he can make light of it. He went through things that if most of us had to go through we'd give up and quit trying .

Alone-LOF
I do find value in being alone sometimes, I love my friends and I love being around them but when your with them constantly and when your bestfriend is your sister and you see her everyday thats always being surrounded by people and it becomes overwhelming. It is important to be yourself because if your not people may get the wrong impression of who you are and what your about

Mold

Where does mold grow? Mold can grow on your food, in your house, outside your house, in buildings.
Why does dew form outside on cold mornings? Dew forms outside on cold mornings because of temperature change. such as its really cold and starts to get warm or its a warmer night and the morning is cold.
where does moisture collect indoors? By windows, heaters, sinks anywhere moisture can come in
What problems may arise when moisture collects indoors? Growth of mold. people can get sick

who needs rules
I think rules/laws in society are a good thing but I wouldn't really care whether we had them or not because no one listens to the rules we have anyway witch is why are prisons and jails are full of people

vandilism
1.leaving litter in the countryside
2.putting dishsoap into a fountain
3. breaking a park bench
4.breaking glass in a bus shelter. damaging seats on buses
5.breaking street lighting
6.damaging a phone box
7.panting graffiti on a public building
8.Throwing eggs at cars and homes
9.setting fire to a school
10.Throwing stones onto a railway line
I put these in order from least to greatest, starting with the one thats least harmful to someone to whats the most harmful because leaving litter in the countryside or putting dish soap into a fountain doesn't hurt anyone it justs just lazy and disrespectful and makes more work for someone else. but throwing stones into a railway line or setting fire to a school is beyond disrespect its cruel and can cause an enormous amount of harm or even death

Talking Animals
If animals could talk life would still be the same we'd just be able to communicate with our cat, dog, fish etc. If animals could talk id probably ask my fish what living in water is like. Id ask my dog What its like to have four legs.If animals could talk it might help us in a way because animals can sense certain things we cant. such as my animals always get weird when were going to have a storm. by being able to communicate with animals we would know more.

Viruses
Summary: A virus is a non-living particle about half to a hundred the size of the smallest bacteria, Its disease causing, protein-based particle with DNA or RNA code in it's innards.
It is unable to reproduce outside a host cell. and they are often named for the disease they cause. They are considered non-living because they do not fit the criteria of the definition life. But the subject whether they are really living or non living organisms is argued.
Reproduction: A single virus particle is in and of itself essentially inert. It lacks needed components that cells have to reproduce. Viruses cannot express their genes or reproduce without the help of a living cell. Once a virus has infected a cell it will marshal the cells ribosomes, enzymes and much of the cellular machinery to reproduce.
Disease:
SMALL POX: small pox is an acute infectious disease unique to humans, caused by either of two virus variants named variola major and variola minor. small pox localizes in small blood vessels of the skin. mouth and throat. If u get small pox in the skin it results in a characteristics maculopapular rash and later raised fluid filled blisters. This diseased killed an estimate of 400,000 Europeans during the 18th century.
CHICKEN POX: Chicken pox is caused by the varicella-zoster virus also known as human herpes virus three. chicken pox is one of the eight herpes viruses known to affect humans. It starts with characteristic spots apearing
