Rites Of Passage
Some rights of passage I've had in my life are, I graduated from kindergarten, I moved from middle to high school, I got a job babysitting when i was 13. I moved in with my sister when I was 13. Also I've become half responsible for a 22 month old toddler the the past year, or pretty much since he was born. Some rights of passage I look forward to are getting my permit in June when I turn 15 and getting my license 6 months later then I will no longer have to ride the bus well at least not as much. I look forward to my 16th birthday when hopefully ill get a car then my mom cant complain about me riding the bus at night. I'm really looking forward to turning 18 and moving out of my moms house because then I can finally be free and not have to worry about and stress following her rules and I will finally be able to do my own thing and not be so sheltered in the house all the time.

U.S. Imperialism
I am against united states imperialism. I am against it because, The united states is a "non imperialist" country but yet were becoming imperialist ourselves. The English speaking language is the official language in over 60 countries and is represented on every continent however the Spanish speaking people is growing rapidly and may become the official global language. If Spanish becomes our global language theres yet another requirement to graduate. Many U.S. troops are reducing there presence in many countries where they have been based for decades, despite the global reach of their military they are still unable to resist the new threats of terrorism. We fight for territory and land but we're "non imperialistic" country so if we lose whoever were fighting doesn't get our land. but if we win we get theres. I don't really think thats right.

Protists
Summary
Protists are the most diverse group of organisms. Most of them are microscopic. There are three main types animal-like, plant-like, and fungi-like. protists were traditionally sub divided into several groups based on there similarities to the higher kingdoms. the one celled animal- like [protozoa], The plant-like [protophyta] and the fungus-like [slime molds]. The animal-like o protozoans are decomposers, and symbiotic some are disease causing. there mostly single celled. motile protists that feed by phagocytosis though there are many exceptions they are usually 0.01-0.5 mm in size. witch is generally to small to be seen without magnification. protozoa are grouped by method of locomotion into flagellates with long flagella, amoeboids with transient pseudopodia, ciliates with multiple short cilia, sporozoa witch are non mobile parasites but some can form spores.
plant-like [algae]
plant-like protists include many single celled organisms. They are considered protozoa such as euglena. others are non motile. some called seaweeds are truely multicellular, including members of the following groups, chlorophytes geen algae with is related to higher plants, rhodophytes red algae. heterokontophytes brown algae. the plant-like protists produce oxygen. they are also first on the food chain. some are unicellular such as phytoplankton. plant-like protists produce 1/2 of the worlds oxygen.Algae conssists of the colors green. brown, and red. Most unicellular reproduce asexually others
Fungi-like
Fungi-like protists are Decomposers. There are two types, slime molds witch reproduce via spores. and water molds & downy mildew witch reproduce via flagellated cells. The chytrids are known to be related to other fungi and are usually classified with them. The others are now placed among the heterokonts and the amoebozoa.
Animal-like (protozoans)
Animal like protists are decomposers as well, they are symbiotic. some are desease causing. some animal like protists are unicellular, some are consumers and some are heterotrophs. they are classified by movement. sarcodines (pseudopods) are amoeboas Flagellates (whip like structures) ciliates (jair like projections) parmecium. sporozoans (non motile) porasiotic reproduce via spores.

When I Die
When I die and my life ends I want to be remembered as the girl who put everyone before herself. I had hundreds of friends but at the same time a lot of people didn't like me. When my time comes I hope to have accomplished opening a clothes line for boys and girls, helping my sister open a dance studio and making dancing our lifestyle. I hope to have helped accomplish getting my nephew back in my sisters home. I will be a positive contributer to society in many ways, As far as my family goes right now that only consists of my sister my nephew and grandparents and it doesn't look to be changing so yes when i die i will still be a very positive contributer to my family. The number one thing in my life was my nephew and my sister and i always did pretty much anything to make them as well as everyone else happy. I was the girl who would rather take my own life than see tears in any ones eyes. I wasn't the type to sit around and wait for things to happen at all i made things happen. when i die i will have done what i loved most, being accomplished and, making my family happy.
